Health Days is a Annual Celebration of Health in Smithfield. It is a week long and starts the second week in May. We celebrate all week with health screenings, parades, booths, music competition, fireworks and more. For more details on Health Days see the Smithfield City website.
Scholarship Pageant
Smithfield City will choose it's 2010 Royalty during the Annual Scholarship Pageant. Junior and Senior girls from Smithfield will compete to represent the city at parades, events, and summer functions. Young ladies will be selected to reign equally from a group of very talented girls. Music Competition

The music competition is for anyone in grades K-12. All participants will participate in a preliminary judging. All finalists will perform at the Health Days Program on Thursday of Health week in the SVHS auditorium where the competition winner will be announced. The program begins at 7:00 PM. Contact Richard Kline for registration forms or information at 563-8131.

Children Theater

The children Theater will be held the final weekend of Health Days. Children of all ages from Smithfield can participate. This is the second year of Children Theater and because of the great turnout and performance last year the theater will take the place of the Health Days Concert. Contact Susan Barrus 563-8100

Health Days Fun Run

Saturday May 7, 2011 at Mack Park. Race starts at 7:30 am. There will be a 5K, 10K and the Mayor's Mile. Register at www.smithfieldrecreation.com or at the Smithfield Rec Center (315 E. 600 S., Smithfield, UT 84335).

 

The Health Days Committee is looking for volunteers to help with next year's celebration. There are many areas to choose from and a lot of fun involved. Contact Smithfield Recreation @ 563.0048 for information
 
Smithfield City Concerts-In-The-Park
2010 Schedule
Concerts are held through out the summer months of June, July, & August
  • Concerts begin at 7:00 PM
  • Held at Central Park (~25N 25 W)
  • Free to the public
  • In case of inclement weather, concerts will be held at the Smithfield Youth Center (~50 N 50 W).
